BIO
In late April of 2026, Nick Costa is set to release Eddie, a raw and deeply immediate album that feels less like of a polished statement than his previous albums, and more like a journal left open on the table. The record captures Costa exactly where he was when these songs demanded to exist. “Every song on this thing kind of just fell out of me,” he says. The result is an unfiltered document of love, anxiety, political unease, and self-examination.
Throughout Eddie, Costa reckons with the persistence of old ghosts, questioning whether growth truly erases the past or simply teaches you how to live alongside it. Songs like “Marb Reds” and “Silver Skin” confront insecurity, desire, and fear head-on, often turning the sharpest critiques inward. Eddie is vulnerable, occasionally unkind to its narrator, and honest.
The album was recorded entirely in a tiny cottage with one microphone. The bare bones production harkens back to the works of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, or Adrienne Lenker and highlights the raw honesty that is prevelent throughout. It’s perfectly imperfect, and flawlessly flawed.
With Eddie, Nick Costa offers an album that captures a fleeting moment with clarity and restraint. It’s intimate, restless, and lived-in, a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful records aren’t meticulously crafted, but simply caught as they pass.
Nick is available to hire for commercial and studio work, as well as songwriting and live performance.
